Lapitec is an innotive full bodied sintered stone, composed of 100% minerals with no resin or hydrocarbon based binders. It’s chemistry and mineralogy is similar to granite as it imitates the process of metamorphosis but with a tight, cryptocrystalline structure similar to Porcelain. No petroleum-based substances are used in its creation and it is totally inert so no substances are released into the air. Lapitec is non-porous and therefore resistant to staining, mould and bacteria. Being completely weatherproof and with resistances to heat, frost, UV light, acids, alkalis, deep abrasions, fire and even graffiti. Lapitec also treats all materials with 'Bio-care' as standard. Lapitecs versatility provides diverse choice solutions for construction and furnishing. Applications are seemingly endless and can be used as cladding to pavements and from kitchen worktops to ventilated façades.
Lapitec offers a certified 10 years material warranty. The warranty covers defects only deriving from it sintered process.
Lapitec surfaces are resistant to thermal shock, therfore, resistant to both high and low temperature extremes. Lapitec promises that it can withstand heat without damage from hot utensils, appliances and pans.
Lapitec is stain resistant, as it is unaffected by mositure. Scrubbing with soft cloth or soft plastic bristle brush and light detergent should remove hard to clean deposits. Using an abrasive may dull the surface.

Lapitec is resistant to abrasions and scratches.
Lapitec can be used internally and externally as it has very high resistance to UV and Solar exposure.
