Lapitec is non-porous and therefore resistant to staining, mould and bacteria. Being completely weatherproof and with resistances to heat, frost, UV light, acids, alkalis, deep abrasions, fire and even graffiti.
Lapitec surfaces are resistant to thermal shock, therfore, resistant to both high and low temperature extremes. Lapitec promises that it can withstand heat without damage from hot utensils, appliances and pans.
Lapitec is stain resistant, as it is unaffected by mositure. Scrubbing with soft cloth or soft plastic bristle brush and light detergent should remove hard to clean deposits. Using an abrasive may dull the surface.
Lapitec Surfaces on the Moh's scale of hardness is 5 out of a 10 (10 being that of diamond). This make lapitec a relatively hard and resistant to abrasions and scratches.
